Borescope Report In Electronic Format

Dear Aviation Community

I am Currently working on setting up a New EASA Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organisation, approved to carry out Borescope Inspections for Engines and APU's with scope's to cover CFM56 Series, GE90 Series, V2500 Series, RR Trent, RB211-535 Series etc.

and Engine Teardown for CFM56 Series. I am aiming for a start date in Jan/Feb 2012.

In addition I have developed a web based borescope report system that is available On and Offline supported by a diagnostic trend monitoring report system. The system is patent pending UK Patent Application No. 1109858.9. 

Phase 1 (BRIEF) Borescope Report In Electronic Format is the main component. The report is held on a secure server and is accessed via a three tier login, so its very secure. It has some unique feature such as built in AMM and a System that assist the engineer in guiding through the decision process. The system has the facility for image upload and storage. BRIEF can be accessed on the Fly, enabling rep's and manager to review the inspection live in realtime as the inspection happens,  just by simply logging in.

Phase 2 is the diagnostics System. each report is stored on a central server the Phase 2 system then diagnoses each report for any patterns forming i.e. Radial Crack, Missing material etc and once all the data has been collected it will automatically create a report for the Customer/Airline/MRO. 
Each time the same engine is inspected a number of occasions, an update report is generated informing the customer that the previous damage is propagating. The system then generates a report highlighting the historical data with the New inspection Data. 

In time the system will have collected enough data where by a decision maybe made to remove an engine off-wing preventing a potential In Fight Shut Down or worst! The system is not limited to just Borescope inspections and we are hoping to roll out for inspections of the whole of the aircraft.
